I Really Don't Care

I Really Don't Care

Verse 1:

I don't care who you are

As long as you don’t hate

You could be gay or straight

I won't know it if you don't say it

But save it, if you’re a guy wantin’ to invite me for a date

‘Cause I'm not bi, I only ride one way

But I'm comfortable with myself, so I take it as a compliment

Go live somewhere else if you want to be homophobic, like another continent

Evacuate the state, I’m a Radicalifornian, and I’m here to stay

So do whatever you want, be whatever you want to be

I'm not ignorant, I don’t discriminate if you’re not like me

Because I want people to like me

Like everyone else, so I'm accepting of the diverse

I’m just trying to help, the universe

And create positive propaganda

Battle the conservative views, and slander the news

That promotes minority oppression at majority discretion

Tryin’ to teach a lesson

To those who oppose what’s different

The world nowadays makes me wonder, “What is this?”

At least I can say, I'm trying to be an influence

So, no, I'm not gay, but please mind your own business.

Verse 2:

Yo, I really don't care what’s politically correct

I just treat everyone fair with equal respect

If I be mean to one person, I'll be mean to the next

We’re all human beings, whatever your orientation of sex

So I might use a word you find offensive

My advice for you is try to be less sensitive

‘Cause I didn’t mean it like that, but rather like this

Language is constantly evolving, and words might have a slight twist

But if you insist I can bite my lip, and I apologize now, ‘case later I’m bound to slip

But on the brighter side, overuse of words deters meaning

And can make you stronger until it’s no longer seeming, so negative

Like this nigga-this, nigga-that

Or for example, if I said this is officially my gayest rap

You might laugh, you might get mad, thinking I poke fun

But it’s true in a sense, and the joke's on no one.
